The Castelli Puro 3 Jersey has long been an off season favourite with its combinaton of features, quality and value.
Featuring panels of warmer FZ fabric on the body and sleeves with lighter fabric on the back for better heat regulation, reflective panels on the front and back, gripper elastic at waist to stop the garment riding up, 3 rear pockets and an easy sliding ykk vislon zipper.
We find that Castelli garments are generally a very snug fit and recommend going up a size from your usual.
Castelli traces its roots back to Vittore Gianni, a fine Milanese tailor founded in 1876 that through the years clothed AC Milan, Juventus and the Milan Ballet.
Their first introduction to the cycling world was making clothing for World Champion and Giro winner Alfredo Binda in the 1910’s. The Castelli connection came along in 1935 when Armando Castelli first joined Gianni’s staff and then went on to buy the company. The Scorpion was born in 1974.
Over the years the names of some of the most famous cyclists have been clothed by Castelli…riders like Bartali, Coppi, Anquetil, Hinault, Moser, Pezzo, Hushovd, Team Ineos. Why not you too?
