The Mavic Cosmic Elite Road Wheelset is the entry into Mavic's aerodynamic Wheel-Tyre System. With lower drag and improved crosswind stability, the Cosmic Elite features a new 30mm deep, 24mm wide NCA compliant rim profile that is joined using SUP technology. Soudé Usiné Process. After bending, the rim joint is arc welded. The welded seam is then milled for a smooth finish to give a stronger and smoother joint with superior wheel balance that eliminates braking shudder. 

The newest technology innovation Mavic has applied to their road range is Road UST Tubeless Ready Technology. UST Tubeless Technology produces traction, control and reduces weight. Road UST makes the use of tubeless safe and easy whilst bringing rolling resistance to its minimum (-15% at equal tyre pressure) and improving ride quality and grip.

The Mavic Cosmic Elite Road Wheelset comes with pre-fitted Yksion Pro UST tires that are light at only 260 grams (in 25) and offer a very low rolling resistance, which perfectly complements the aerodynamic qualities of the wheels.

Pedaling torque is transferred to the ground thanks to the incredible Instant Drive 360 freewheel system. The new Instant Drive 360 freewheel system is super light and fast to engage with only 9°. A large contactless rubber seal provides low friction, while a wide array of end caps makes it super versatile.
